MY INSURANCE ISN'T LISTED, CAN I STILL BE SEEN IN YOUR CLINIC?
The quick answer is "Yes". Insurances change regularly. Please contact us directly. We accept cash visits and we will discuss with you how you can use Out of Network Benefits, PPO, and POS plans.
WHY DON'T YOU ACCEPT MY INSURANCE?
Two reasons....
1. Some larger insurance groups limit providers on their plans. This stops you from having a choice in your area. You can be seen as a cash patient and we will provide you the forms to bill your insurance directly for possible reimbursement. Most plans allow us to see you under your plan if you are a PPO or POS plan member.
2. Unfortunately many insurances pay less than Medicaid rates to providers. This makes it very difficult to operate with all the mandatory expenses involved in a practice. Costs for licensing, staff, insurance, etc. would be overwhelming and cause us to over book and spend less time with our patients just to keep the doors open.
CAN I SEND MY BILL TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY FOR REIMBURSEMENT?
Every insurance is different on this issue. Some visits relating to pain management may be reimbursable to a certain extent, but we make no guarantees. Our staff will gladly provide you with the standard form, an itemized bill, CPT codes, and your receipt of payment in full to assist you in filing a claim with your carrier.
