MARK J. ERNST, PA-C

Mark J. Ernst, PA-C is a graduate of the Cornell University Physician Assistant program in New York City, NY.  He is nationally certified as a PA-C (Physician Assistant-Certified), AAFE (American Academy of Facial Esthetics) trained, and has received special recognition in Surgery by the NCCPA. Mark has extensive experience in Orthopedic Spine Surgery, General Orthopedics, and Pain Management treatments.
*  Mark has been treating neck, back, and extremity pain since 2000. Involved in over 3,500 spinal surgeries and countless injection procedures involving major joints, minor joints, and trigger point injections for muscular pain. 
Total body wellness has a positive affect on our general health.  Mark hopes to give you the needed combination to let you experience life the way it was meant to be.  The opioid focus we have seen over the past few years has come from over prescribing and ignoring the other wellness aspects of health care.  Mark works diligently to reduce medication prescriptions to a safe and acceptable level to meet the standards of the medical community, state, and federal guidelines.
Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Mark served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps.  Free time is spent enjoying adventures with his wife and their Schnauzers. Mark’s off work passions are wine, food, design, art, architecture, travel and continuing to learn more Spanish.
